Carretera Barra Vieja,
Km. 12 Acapulco,
Guerrero 39879 |
|
This is a
combination of the immensity of the open sea and its intense surf
and the peacefulness of the lagoon. You have the choice of swimming
wherever you want: it is at this point that both fresh and salt
water come together. The Talla-style Fish is a recipe which
originates from Barra Vieja - it delights even the most demanding
tastes. To try it, all you have to do is walk into any of the
restaurants in this area. You can also rent horses, swim, or rent
small boats and row through the mangrove swamps.

Laguna de Tres Palos |
Carretera Aeropuerto
Entrada por restaurante Los Pavorreales
Acapulco, Guerrero 39879 |
|
Located to the
East of Acapulco Bay, and very close to the airport, this is a fresh
water lagoon of extraordinary natural beauty which houses a great
variety of wild fauna. Here you can rent jet-skis and visit the
canals which have been formed by marine vegetation. Among them you
will find birds in nests caring for their young. There are few
restaurants here, but all of them have access to the lagoon and rent
jet-skis and boats. Try ?Los Pavorreales?.

Bahía de Puerto Marqués |
Carretera
Aeropuerto
Acapulco, Guerrero 38892 |

This is a
beautiful bay with calm waves, a few kilometres away from Acapulco's
Costera area. You can reach it by car, taxi, bus, and even by boat.
In Puerto Marqués you will be able to water-ski and swim in complete
safety, as well as eat in one of the many restaurants typical of
Acapulco, with fish and seafood specialities. We recommend that your
try their cocktails and ceviChes. It also offers water sports
services such as skijets, the banana, parachutes and boats which
will take you to tour the bay.

where the Voladores de Papantla show is presented, along with the
Mexican Night. It also has great meeting halls where countless
renowned national and international events have taken place. Some
such are exhibitions, all types of concerts, conventions, seminars

The Cathedral is
located in the oldest area of Acapulco. Built in 1930, Nuestra
Señora de la Soledad Cathedral's main features are a mosque-style
dome and Byzantine towers. Inside one can admire its golden yellow
floor tiles and its walls painted in white and blue, which give it a
very special atmosphere. Perhaps the most beautiful image it houses
is that of Christ laying in a crystal coffin.

It is located
very near the Princess Hotel golf course, and there is really not
much difference between them. It has a 72 par and 18 holes with
different exits for men and women. The services which complement it
are caddies, golf shop, restaurant snack-bar, and electric buggies.
The beauty of this field is simply staggering and peaceful. The cool
breeze from Revoladero beach a few metres away, will make this a
memorable game. |
